I’m João, classically trained musician, music producer, and recording/mixing engineer dedicated to pushing the boundaries of sound. My work thrives on blending technical precision with creative exploration, capturing authentic performances that resonate with each artist’s unique vision. Whether it’s classical, indie, jazz, or experimental music, I approach every project with an open mind and a passion for innovation. With a deep appreciation for vintage gear – especially tape machines – I love incorporating analog warmth and unique textures into my productions. By combining modern tools with time-honored techniques, I create sonic landscapes that are both fresh and timeless. For me, great sound starts with exceptional performances and a carefully crafted acoustic environment. I’m always on the lookout for new ideas and unconventional approaches to bring into the studio, ensuring every project stands out.
